Angie asked to see the four denim jackets I ordered to wear with my new WHBM skirt. Do any of these work? My white Nike sneakers are old so I'll need new ones if I decide to wear them with the skirt. Which color should I choose; white, blue, or pink? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Oh, this is a tough question! All are good. I really like no 1-2, I like the short lenght and the soft light blue colour - looks sweet with the skirt. No 3-4 is also very nice - fresh. Finally, I am also very fond of no 7-8, a nice contrast to the soft dreamy skirt, looks rather cool. My least favourite is no 5-6, probably because of the lenght. It is still very nice, but the other options stand out more.
Gosh, what a beautiful skirt that is!

I like the first 2 jackets the most-can't decide which is my favorite! Pink gets my vote for the sneakers.

I like the first jacket on you overall. It’s a good length and complements your silver hair. But for this outfit, I like number 2 a bit more with the slight contrast. I like the pink sneakers, so cute. What a fun outfit.

The first jacket gets my vote. The slightly darker second jacket is a close runner up.
Pink would be my first choice of sneaker color, but the light blue or white would also work if those are better with your wardrobe.

I like the second jacket best. The first one is a great color, but to me, the raw hem doesn’t seem right with that beautiful skirt. Definitely pink sneakers!!

Thank you Katerina, suntiger, Alicewonderland, Joy, and JAileen. It looks like a tie with the first two jackets and pink sneakers are definitely leading. I wear a lot of blue, black, gray, and white so pink would go with all of those colors.

With the skirt I definitely prefer the first one. Pink or white for the sneakers. I find pink shoes are surprisingly versatile but white is the classic.

Jacket 1 or 2 - both are really good. I tend to white for sneakers but pink is versatile too.

This is such a pretty skirt , and also quite dressy . I prefer the first jacket by far, and I see it with a different shoe (other than a sneaker) ........

I like the slight contrast of jacket #2 and think that medium blue wash is extremely flattering on you, not to mention versatile, but I also really like #1, in particular because it is more cropped. I am tempted to say, you need them both!

Ditto for sneakers.

I really like because of the proportions, which look good to my eye, especially to the back. It is a beautiful skirt! So feminine but I like that the denim gives it a little edge. I would go with white or with the pink for the sneaks. White probably, to book end with your hair.

I like #1 and #2. The proportions of the first one work really well with the skirt and the colour of the second one work really well with your colouring. I think I would go with #2 because it would go with lots more in your wardrobe. Blue sneakers.

I like 1/2 by far the most, it looks the most pretty and refined with that beautiful skirt, though like J’Aileen I am sorry it has a frayed edge hem which is less refined. I’m with Lisap as well, why sneakers? The skirt is much too pretty. What about refined comfortable sandals? If you want sneakers, I’d say pink or white would suit the outfit better than that blue which looks too dark to me.

100% agree with LisaP - I too would prefer a dressier shoe, but would go with pink sneakers. These are gorgeous colours on you.

#1 hands-down. The whole outfit has an ethereal quality -- Ethereal Tomboy? Is that even possible? Anyway, it looks great! I like the idea of white or pink for sneakers; I think the blue would be a bit too dark. And like others, I'd be very curious to see this with sandals in place of the sneakers.

Not much help I, afraid, I like #2 with the skirt but love the color and frayed hem of #1. And definitely pink sneakers! But I agree I’d like to see the skirt with different shoes also.

I like the jacket in 3/4. The color of the first one is lovely, but I prefer the slightly stronger contrast of the second, and the non/frayed hem. I vote blue shoes, if you wear it with denim, or pink, with a different topper. You can’t go wrong either way.

Thank you all very much for your input. It is still almost a tie with 7 votes for #1 and 6 for #2, but pink sneakers are definitely in the lead. I first showed the skirt with a black top and sandals and I will wear it this way, but Angie suggested a more casual version with a denim jacket, white top, and sneakers as another way to wear the skirt, an idea that I love. We're going to the symphony this afternoon and I plan to wear the skirt today, Go Team Wear!

Agree that jacket 1 and 2 or the best. Maybe the darker wash will be a little more useful? And yes to the pink sneakers! Look truly look fabulous!

With this outfit, I like the light blue jacket (#1-2) best.

The shoes could be in any of those three colours you have suggested. However, in my humble opinion, this skirt deserves to be worn with something a bit more pretty and fun than ordinary sneekers seen everywhere. (Why do all outfits have to be dressed down these days? Sigh ....) I love your sandals.
