For Ana: some ballroom action photos

Hmm, I tried to cover up the faces (liability issues and such), it works fine for the overview, but once I click on the full size the unedited photos are there! Is it the same for you? If so, I'm afraid I'll have to remove them or something, till I figure out how to permanently alter them.

Edit: I have made the album private, the password is 'dancing'. I still need a way to permanently cover faces.

Hmm...there's a password there so I can't see them anymore. I didn't click on any of the photos, just looked at the slideshow since the photos were already big, so I couldn't tell you if the dot was still there or not.

Edit: Tanya, the faces are still blacked out when I click them to full size. You're a-ok.

How about when you click on grid/slideshow view instead of the main? That's been giving me problems.

New edit: if I use my Firefox I can see unedited versions, but in Internet Explorer it's fine. This is giving me quite a headache.

Yep, tried both of those, and I'm using Firefox, and the faces are still blacked out.

Thank you so much Ana! My apologies for all I made you do! I was almost about to delete the album. You are so incredibly nice and sweet! *huge sigh of relief*

Back to real stuff: the shoes are special ballroom ones, and they must have heels.
The soles are made of suede (can't wear them outside) and whole shoe is extremely flexible. I find them much more comfortable than the normal shoes of same heel height.

Hi Sarah, I did delete them because of the whole face thing. I was probably too paranoid, but I kept seeing faces on my computer. It's not such a big deal for me, but I shouldn't post pictures with other people's faces on clearly ( my dance partners) without their permission.

I will try to permanently cover faces with photoshop or something like that over the weekend and if it works i shall repost them here on this thread and let you know it.

I know, Nicole, me too! I didn't get to see Tanya's face either because for me they were all blacked out, but they're not doing the same thing on her computer.

If you black them out in photoshop first, and then upload them, the photos will definitely be blacked out, Tanya.

I know when I was editing my photos on photobucket earlier, my computer was caching the un-edited version which was a bit frustrating. Once I refreshed the page (or hit F5) I was able to see the current photo, the same as everyone else. Hopefully you can do some photo magic and post them again.

I saw the pictures yesterday but didn't have time to comment. I did not see any faces so the faces you were seeing was probably just an issue with your computer's cache (is my geekiness showing?).

Anyway you looked beautiful and very elegant! Looks like a lot of fun.

Thanks Tanya...those are fantastic. The costumes are beautiful--and you certainly have the figure to wear them perfectly. It looks like you have multiple dance partners in some of the photos??

I am glad you like them Nicole. The photos are from three different years ( blue and white costumes-2004, green-2005, black-2006). All of the dance partners from each group are different people. It is very common that people have different people for different styles - Standard and Latin. In addition, it is even more common for partnerships to be very unstable so people change dance partners pretty often. Unfortunately, to become really good you need a nice stable long partnership...

I'm finally looking at these. Beautiful pictures. My favorite is the white feathery dress. You look so elegant... like Ginger Rodgers with a modern twist. I also love the light aqua dress.
