Not sure exactly if saffron is orange or true red, but I would enjoy a few more true or blue-red items in my wardrobe. I will probably stick to accessories but I do adore a red sweater in the winter. For me, it can be a great pick-me-up because I find the color energizing.

Thank you for sharing, Aquamarine! In the photos it looks like true red to me.

I like red, but it is not in the group of my favorite colors. I have a decent amount of it in my wardrobe, but could use a few more pieces in it if I find the right ones - simple midi sweater dress, relaxed pants. I stick to either true/fire-engine red or blue-red.

I like red but these shades seem too bright for me. I prefer a deeper version, what I call a jewel red. It isn’t so much on how I look, it’s how I feel.

Every year at this time I crave a red piece or two in my wardrobe yet I never wear it at any other time . I think it’s my inner JCrew Holiday lookbook fantasy rearing it’s head .

Oh thanks for that link, Aquamarine. I too absolutely love red A true blue red looks the best on me, but is very hard to find in tops and sweaters, so I haven't a single one in my wardrobe at the moment.

I like red but have to be careful with it. I do wear cooler shades of red better than warm ones. Sometimes I tire of red items, even though the color looks good on me, so I stop myself from buying much of it. I do own two red sweaters -- both rather sporty -- so I would put the brakes on buying more. Oh wait, I do also have a very lightweight V-neck Rag & Bone sweater in a nice bright red. There are a few outfits I really like wearing that with -- it looks good under my red plaid hooded blazer.

I love the wrap sweater and the Mango braided sweater.

I’ve had red t-shirts in the past, and I like the look with white pants or white shorts. I used to love red shoes but it’s been years since I’ve had any.

Looking forward to how the color will trickle down in retail in 2022!

Thanks for sharing. I love red but don't have a lot at the moment. It really is an emotive colour for me, positive and energising.

For people who are nervous about wearing it I always think red shoes (loafers or flats) look wonderful, and I always love red and denim.

Interesting. I never knew about saffron red, but these pix sent me looking up the spice & waddayaknow? It’s red. Saffron orange/yellow is a color I can wear, so I bet this red would work for me too. Usually I wear cool reds with a little blue in them.
The other cool parts in these shots is that they’re monochromatic. That really seems to be coming in strong, & I like it.

I love red. This particular group of reds appear to be very warm. I can see the yellow undertone in the color!

Time to dig out my trusty Eddie Bauer down puffer. It’s red, ~ 35 years old, and still going strong…….
