Love it! I wish I had more time to knit. I'm missing it. Time demands with the kiddos make it nearly impossible for now. Isn't that the cruelest irony? Just when you have the little noggins and chubby little hands that you are dreaming of swathing in knitted fun, you don't have the time to knit anything. *sigh*

Of course, who am I kidding. I can't convince either of them to wear the super adorable light blue alpaca elf hat that I knit for them. However, they fight to wear the pumpkin hat that is now pilling and ratty not to mention no longer seasonally appropriate. *double sigh*

These are adorable! I think I would have to start now for next Christmas to get them all done, though. I've never knit a stuffed toy/plushie before, but I'm seriously tempted by the swans.

Awww those swans with lacy wings! Knitting a doll is probably not as hard as it looks and so cute, but I'm too busy knitting Christmas gift bags to try. Maybe next year~

Oh, wow, that is awesome! I like the swans best too. Knitting small things like the little dolls is not too hard but quite fiddly with a lot of turning and switching needles. I prefer crochet for that type of thing.

Oh my mother would have been all over knitting those cuties. I still have her knit nativity scene and also a set of carolers with reindeer.

Oh I love the birds the best, especially the swans! I agree with Diana though that I'd probably crochet them instead of knitting. Thnx for posting Deb!

I'm not a knitter. No way. I tried crocheting way back when. First and only project was to be a shoulderbag. The longer I worked on the first section the smaller and thicker it became. I could NOT master the tension. Finally called it quits and used it for years as a (probably highly flammable) hot pad.
So what am I doing on this thread? Deb, you find the most interesting things. If you post it, I'll read it. These are adorable and I just bookmarked the new-to-me website!
