For all the Sex & the City fans---fave SATC2 looks/character?

I'm not sure how SATC fans are on here...but I recently watched the entire series from season 1 to season 6 and just devoured the fashion (and intrigue, and embarrassments, and endearing moments, and Mr Big...sigh).

So, of course I was sooo excited to see SATC2. I had heard before I went to see it that it was rather...disappointing, shall we say, with a serious lack of storyline...I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet...but yeah. Luckily I knew that going into it so was able to have fun anyway and not feel super disappointed.

Anyway, I wondered, those who've seen it...what was your fave look from the movie, and/or fave character overall fashion-wise? These are my picks:

Carrie's opening scene getup was a winner (Halston Heritage white dress, Chanel clutch, Christian Louboutin heels and gladiator sunnies).

Overall winner...Miranda! She always looks impeccable and beautiful.

I haven't seen the second movie yet, so can't chime in. Didn't really like the first movie, although I loved the series. I thought it was much too long and lacking in catchy dialogue. I hear the second one isn't much better, but that won't stop me from watching it though;-)

Definately Miranda though I did like some of Samantha's outfits too. Oh and I particularly liked the scene when they first got to that hotel in Abu Dhabi.

It might surprise you that I am not a SATC fan. I love fashion and I love NYC, but the series did not light my fire. I guess I thought it was silly. But then so is Seinfeld and that's one of the most brilliant shows ever made in my book. I watch it over and over again. I think its very clever and I LOVE George! I want a friend like George.

That being said, I have watched both movies with a girlfriend who thinks SJP walks on water. Miranda looks the best and dresses the best. She's my favourite. Although I want Carrie's tuxedo from the second movie :0)

I haven't seen the second movie yet, I decided that given the reviews I would wait until it came out on DVD. But the gossipy fashion mags have been covered with the clothes from the movie and from what I have seen I agree with Angie and like Miranda's style best - but I do enjoy Carrie's wimsy as well.

One question for those in the USA - did shops like H&M fill themselves with look alikes from the movie? Especially, the clothes from the scenes in the Middle East.
