Haha I at least understood the fashion side of it - think of it in terms of which players are the 'basic' (t-shirt & jeans) & which ones are the 'accessories' that add 'pizzazz'? Lol!

Ah gotcha, that sounds like football (soccer) in the UK - as the child of first generation immigrants, I never had a family incentive to attend weekend games or buy a striped scarf to represent 'my' team, but I remember kids at school could be quite mean to one another for wearing the 'wrong' colours (Arsenal & Aston Villa were quite popular, Chelsea not so much) Other than being forced to play it in PE, football has never occupied much of my time - nice you had it to connect with family though.
