Runcarla, I hope you don't mind my posting this, but I imagine the Canadians might have holidays pics to share, while others are practicing for the holidays!

I've been doing much of the same old, and slowly branching out with different breads and low carb goodies.

#1 Bagels
#2 Sourdough (different technique)
# Shitake mushroom, avocado, and cucumber salad; seasoned rice; seared salmon sushi. My knife skills are dreadful, and I'm hoping to learn in the next few months.
#4 Low carb baklawa bites
# 5 Low carb k'nafe (both dairy and non-dairy). It's a Middle Eastern shredded phyllo dessert filled with cheese, and flavoured with rosewater syrup.
