STAYSFIT- how true- some things i just have to “live in” for a while to figure out they are either wrong or simply meh- those I actually have no problem letting go of. I think the angst of this post was more about clothes you love but may not have as great a use for any more. These I lived in and loved but did not get a full “lifetime “ of wear when heart surgery “forced “ a retirement. It’s not the retirement- love it and while not 100% health is greatly improved - when I do the pie chart of lifestyle vs pie chart of wardrobe- the “shift” is blatantly obvious. I don’t need any more “ retirement clothes “ but have limited use for the lovely work appropriate clothes.
TEXSTYLE & 3STYLE- I like the idea of a holding zone. It is a great way to get them out of day to day rotation but still get access if/ when needed. That “panic” when an occasions pop up is something I definitely try to avoid. And 3STYLE- I learned the hard way not to get rid of things until replacement is found.
Thanks friends for all the wisdom and hand holding.
