I love these Fluevog shoes, but not the pricetag. I feel like this might be the boot alternative I've been looking for to wear during the winter months (on dry non slushy days, of course).

has anyone seen a shoe similar to this (slip on, high vamp, sturdy small-mid heel) that would look good with straight and boot cut jeans? Can anyone describe this shoe in Zappos terms? I'm not finding anything and I suspect I'm just searching for the wrong shoe type.
