Mae and I hit Nordstrom Rack yesterday and, per advance agreement, chose a couple of flower pins for Michelle. We're planning to go back on Tuesday, so have the chance to trade in either or both of these, depending on YLF input.

There are two, one deep, true purple and one fuchsia. Purple is more abstract and fuchsia is a classic silk flower. Ruler in background shows size: purple is about 3.5 inches and fuchsia slightly bigger. Fuchsia does not have the black accents that Angie had suggested, but the purple has a layer of black tulle behind it that you can see in the picture of it by itself:

There were other options: the classic silk came in a bright cobalt blue, a true red, and a deep teal. There was also another fuchsia one that had every petal outlined in black tipping. I passed on that one, in spite of the black accents, because I though it would need an edgy outfit behind it not to appear old-ladyish.

Thoughts?
