I'm going on a St Patrick's day themed party cruise next Friday. Drinking and dancing kind of thing.

Options are this:

My only concern is the bathroom issue on a boat.

Or I have a dark green strong shouldered tunic that I could wear with leather leggings. I also have a silk chiffon forest green dress, but it's so dark it almost reads black.

tunic & leggings sound great. and maybe some metallic/gold footwear as a little nod to the pot-o-gold? (sorry if its too cheesy, I have a birthday the day before st pats & i have seen lots of green parties... but no green beer, only jamesons)

Jumpsuit is fun, but probably not ideal for a cruise or for imbibing alcohol and trying to use the bathroom. That last bit could just be me . . .

Hmm, well, it's tough to compare without seeing the tunic and leggings outfit, but I think that jumpsuit is very festive and spring-like.

Love those shoes!!! Not sure that I would want to wear a jumpsuit OR silk due to the sloshing around of beer and bathroom issue esp. on boat on St. Patty's Day. The tunic & leggings plus leprechaun shoes sound fab. Have to find a non-drinking occasion to wear that jumpsuit, however.

I do adore the jumpsuit, but I would forego it on a boat. I'm terrified to even try a jumpsuit due to the bathroom issue. The leggings and tunic sound fantastic and those little gold shoes are drool worthy.

Drinking and dancing, eh? Are you going with friends, or is this with your social group? I think I would vote for the dress for the latter, even if it is dark. A festive jacket would keep you warm and brighten things up.

I think the jumpsuit is perfect for St. Patrick's Day, but I agree about hesitating due to the on-board bathroom facilities. That could really get to be a pain. The tunic and leather leggings sound sexier, though, depending on if this will be that sort of occasion.

I love those shoes. I was wondering about a similar pair and now I know they are 0.5 on the trendy scale... I might give another look for my size.

For the boat, two piece dressing is advisable for sure. I like the tunic and leather legging plan.

You look fab in this floral jumpsuit Anna but the bathroom issue on a boat would probably make me steer towards the tunic and leather leggings with those fantastic shoes.

Ok I'll try and get some outfits photographed this weekend.
Rae, it is with my social group. They're super casual and I think the dress might be a bit much. Although last year's celebration one woman wore a green dress that was basically like a Bavarian beer garden waitress, with stripey thigh highs.

If it were a regular party not on a boat I would vote for the jumpsuit (LOVE that on you, so pretty!!), but for this I would guess the tunic+leather leggings. Looking forward to seeing photos of the options

On a boat in March, will you need warm coat, scarf, gloves and hat? I'd go for warmth with the leather and tunic.

Tunic and leather pants sound so cool. I do love the jumpsuit but you need to be comfortable and not have a drama each time you use the bathroom.
