Flatforms try on - opinions, please?

Hi YLFabbers,

I just got these Lucky flatforms and I really like them, but I'm wondering if I need to go up a size?

I often wear my sandals pretty close to the end of my toes, but I'm thinking these are a little too short, even though they are my usual size, and my left foot is actually the longer one, but the right shoe appears smaller!

Yes, I'd size up-they look a bit short front and back and slightly narrow.

I think they look fine - its really down to comfort for you.
And I love my flatforms, such a great spring/summer shoe.

I’d size up because I’d probably slide forward just enough when walking to have my toes go over the edge. But I don’t like a lot of room in front of my toes either. So I’d make sure the next size was really perfect.

Noticing that on the third photo where you put your weight on your right foot to show the platform on the left, your right big toe does seem to go over the edge.

Way cute! I have Birks that fit similarly and they are perfect for me (the size up, which some sales people insist I need, are too wide and loose overall). I think the only way to tell is to try the larger size and walk around in both for a bit.

They look like they fit well.Do your toes go over the edge when you walk?If not they are the right size for you.

I think they look fine in this size too - but no harm in trying half a size up. Are they comfy? Look fab.

I like this size. I don’t like too much room in the front. Like Jules my birks fit very close and I prefer it.

They look ok to me. If your foot slides forward, there are easy fix silicon petals that you can stick on the shoe under the ball of your foot. Is one foot slightly longer than the other?

I think they are just big enough, but a half size up might be better. If that’s too big then since these look good on you and you love them, if it were me I would keep this size rather than none.

I would try a size up, but I'm thinking they might be too big. I had a pair of sandals that fit just like this, and the size up looked and felt too big. The salesperson (at Nordstrom) and I decided that the smaller size was the better option, even though my big toe was just a smidgen over the footbed (just like on your right foot). So I kept the smaller pair and wore it to pieces. I was very happy with my purchase.

They look right as-is, unless your foot slips forward as others have noted. I judge sandals and mules more by where my heel is than by the toes. I cringe seeing women walking around with their heels hanging off the back of their sandals; it doesn't fit! And don't be so quick to blame your feet for fit issues, it could be in the manufacturing of the shoe.

Close to perfect, but wouldn't hurt to try a size up.

I always have this problem! I think ideally you would have a tad more room especially n the right foot. But I think a size up will be too big. But you should try them. And is the pc after you e walked a bit so your foot has settle? I find my foot slides forward a bit after walking.
