For years now I have been dressing in black and white . My husband has taken to calling me a magpie and last week said I looked as if I was always ready to go to a funeral! As we have been married for 57 years his comments don't upset me, but I decided to go the other way and really flash the colours the other day.
So, here I am dressed as "Flash Harriet" in my Summer maxi dress with very bright long cardi. The latter is almost part of the Summer UK uniform and I chose this one in jade green as it really was bright!
I expected my husband to protest that I had gone too far the other way, but he liked it. However going out in that outfit is not on the cards. I have more respect for people's eyesight!!
