Flares and faux fur - yay or nay?

Thanks! I added another pair of Kut flares that have different pockets. I find the other pockets charming, actually, in a retro sort of way, but I understand they are not to everyone's taste!

i like the second pair much better. the flare isn't so wide, the wash is darker and overall, the silhouette is sleeker. i think these are more versatile (dressed up/down) compared to the first pair.

ultimately tho,you have to go with the ones you find more fun and charming.

You are probably right about the coat...AND it's 3/4 sleeves, while retro-charming, kind of impractically for this chilly time of year? I looove the chevrons though. Someone needs to buy it so I can style it vicariously.

I'm a bit on the fence about the bangle...on the one hand, totally stalking it...a lot of my outfits seem like they would be finished off with the addition of a chunky bangle. On the other hand, this isn't the kind of accessory that plays well with long sleeved coats...so I'd have it, but wouldn't be able to wear it too much right now....I suppose that fits in well with my "team save" personality (vs team "wear it right now").

I'm too short for flares or the coat but if you should try them. That's the only way to know. The bangle is fabulous but you are wise to think about wearing it with long sleeved coats and jackets. Are you used to wearing big bangle bracelets? They can take getting used to.

Joy - You are probably right about needing to just try them...I was hoping to avoid "blind" ordering...unfortunately nothing is available in my local store. I was curious if the faux fur coat, for example just looked really bad IRL or if the flares were notorious for bagging out or running small. I will sleep on it and order (or not!) in the morning. I need to figure out what my most pressing wardrobe holes are.

Ugh, I'm not help - I love it all! The trouser style denim I have found you really have to try on to determine fit. It's the one item that, as a pear, I NEVER can trust the photos and so I never buy online.

But I love the faux fur!! I'd love to see a pic of that on you - it looks amazing. Of course, I have NOT seen it IRL.

The bangle is adorable as well...I'd go with the teal unless you are looking for something neutral..
