We got the fitbit one on Friday and I have become much more aware of my activity level. I also track food in myfitnesspal.com. We went golfing after work today and when I got home, I was just under the target of 10000 steps so we went out for a walk and I got to over 15000. I am not sure I would have gone if it hadn't been for wanting to hit that target.
After three full days, I am giving the fitbit a thumbs up.
