Fit of NAS Frye Veronica shorties

Hi, I've seen several ladies have purchased the Frye Veronica Shorties from NAS. If you have them, how do they fit you?

I tried these on in the store, but didn't walk around. I just had time to really try them on today and there is a huge amount of heel slip. (I'm sorry if this is a repeat question--I searched the archives before I posted). Is there something wonky with this years model? The website product reviews are mixed on the fit. I'm so sad! I want these boots to work!

The heels on mine slip even with inserts inside, but almost all boots (especially pull-on boots like most fryes) slip at the heel for me and it does not bother me. They're boots and it's not like they will fall off. You just have to get used to walking with the loose heel. My old DV moto boots that I am replacing with the Fryes slip as well.

It's going to depend on the shape and size of your heels/insteps. I have extremely shallow insteps and narrow, shallow heels so almost all shoes are too big in those areas for me.
