The other day someone posted a vintage-inspired necklace they were dreaming about. That post inspired me while trolling the antique fair today. I got this sweet little necklace. The white beads are crystal. I love the bee clasp. http://s508.photobucket.com/al.....Photo8.jpg

In kind of sad news, I have been working the last few days to figure out how to post pictures. I had found a good place to take the pictures, figured out how to load onto my computer, and figured out how to use photobucket (as you can see.) But my computer went kaput this am. The upside is that we have WAY too many computers in our household but all the others are my husband's and macs. So I now have to learn how to do this stuff on his computer. Temporary setback, but frustrating nonetheless.

Sorry to hear about your computer, and don't worry too much: I work on a mac too and uploading and posting pictures is actually easier in my opinion.

Alecia - congrats on your first photo post. A recent "debutante" myself, I can imagine how frustrating that must have been once you went through all the steps of how to post the photo. LOVE your necklace. I want one

Thank you all. I'm very excited about it. And, yes, the Secret Life of Bees is a great book. I hadn't even thought of that.

I have to admit that it's a lot easier to get jewelry than clothes. It could be a form of avoidance, albeit a fun one. (And I won't be one of those women who goes minimal wihtout jewelry this season. No way!)

My work requires suits most of the time. This is not one of my favorite suits and the shell is too short. So it's not a fabulous day, but we have to start somewhere, right? I look forward to getting to 10s all the time with your help.
