i need an idiot's guide to packing sensibly yet sexy for a three-day beach trip with my boyfriend. i'm one of those awful packers who throws everything in the bag because i'm never sure what i need, but i don't want to do that this time.

we're both fairly casual, but since we'll be wet/dry/sandy at different parts of the day all weekend--i guess that is throwing me off the most--i want to be sure i bring clothes and shoes that are pretty and sensible. (fyi, i'm 31.)

so, what should i make sure i pack? what kind of cover-up? all sundresses? do i leave the jeans at home? what's the best type of shoe(s) to wear? this is just a trip to the coast, not a far-off exotic vacation. but i'd like to look put-together and enjoy my bf's company instead of feeling frumpy. you won't offend me if you give me a super-specific list of what to buy.
