... was clothes related, lol. I was energized by thinking of the increasing opportunities to dress up in this job.

The last years I've been working solo on completing my doctoral thesis and had too few opportunities to dress up. It's been a long and bumpy road and I'm still not finished, but I'm slowly getting there. The prospects of a temporary position is fueling my motivation in the final stages, and it's good news in many other ways, too, but it is not all set yet. *knock on wood* I know the field, the department and uni system, but it's been a long time since I was in charge of first year students.

Thanks to YLF I can share my enthusiasm for any occation to get dressed without being regarded as completely shallow. lol
