First online shopping total fail :(

I ordered 2 pairs of jeggings and 1 skirt from Revolve Clothing and all of them are utter fails.

The jeggings are too big in the waist and backside and the zipper down the front of the skirt has a very odd bulge

Sigh....guess I'm off to the post office on Monday to return them.

Aw, damn, that must feel very disappointing. I've had a few incidences like that, where I just wondered how things could look so different in person than they did online.

I'm really surprised about the jeggings...I got a 24 in one pair and an XS in the other. I'm a pretty standard 24 in most jeans but maybe jeggings run bigger because of the stretch?

Grr, I hate when that happens. I don't have much experience with jeggings, but for the Gap jeggings the sales associate told me to go up one size (she said just about everyone does, including her). She was right; instead of my usual 26 I went up to a 27. So I would say that there is no general rule for how to size jeggings. Although for lots of skinnies one has to size down b/c of stretch, so I could see how this might be the case for the jeggings you ordered.

I hate that about online shopping. I end up returning about 75% of what I buy online, unfortunately. It seems to be the price of online shopping. It's convenient, insofar as it doesn't involve actually going to a store and having a wider selection, but I'm not sure that it pays off since, as you mentioned, it involves extra trips to the post office. I'm sorry that your pieces didn't work for you!

I love alterations and my tailor but these are not worth it the fit of all of them is generally pretty bad and my tailor isn't cheap so back they will go!

It could be worse- I got free shipping out here which was a bonus.

I'm off to console myself with lunch and city shopping with my best friend
