First of my NAS finds: Trina Turk blouse

My Trina Turk silk blouse arrived (the same one that Amy has), and I couldn't wait to try it out!
It's definitely bright and crazy, but I love the colors, and the dolman style. It's sort of a wedge shape- looser at the top and narrowing to fit more snugly at the hips. Do you it's OK on my apple shape? It goes with just about everything since it has so many colors in it.

I'll probably wear it most with a black skirt or black long pants, but I tried to try out a couple of possibilities to wear right now, since it is cool and breezy to wear on a hot day, too.

Does this work? I'd like your honest opinions, comments, and suggestions. Thanks!

You know, I was a little worried it would be too overwhelming, but I adore it in the way that you styled it here. Especially with #2 - the pencil skirt and emerald bag look stunning!

Beautiful, especially with the pencil skirt and the black capris! I also really like it with white, but it almost seems like it needs to be with clam diggers or a slightly narrower shape. Don't get me wrong, it looks fabu as it is, just suggesting possible tweaks to dial it up past 11!

Yeah, I agree with you. I don't like the denim shorts with it as well. I have a pair of slim white capris that I think will work better.

Parsley I think this is quite stunning. Agreed the trick is keeping the bottoms nice and slim to blance the volume of the top. Having said that I think that Amy tried her top with a slightly wide leg pant it looked pretty good.

This is definitely a keeper. The colors are lovely and I think it's a nice addition to your closet.

#4 is wonderful! I must say as I looked at pic #1, I was about to hit the buzzer, but after your styling photos, I was converted. Normally the sleeves would be an automatic no because they will probably never fit under a coat or topper, this blouse has it's own special place, and you are lucky it's with you! You look great!

I'm experimenting with embracing my natural curls. I'm still on the fence as to whether I like it or not, but it's fun to have variety.

So fun, and beautifully styled. I love the "ease" partnered with the "arty." I think this kind of garment makes the wearer seem both easygoing and confident. A winning combination!

Parsley, I wonder whether you need a size down.

Hmm, I can try a size down. The issue that I'd run in to is the same as Amy: the smallest place is the bottom hem, which is already fairly snug on me. I'm afraid that the smaller size won't fit down over my hips, so the upper part blouse will pouf out too much.

I like it best in #4, with the skinny cropped pants. I am thinking it would look good with full-length pants too, provided they were skinnies.

This is such a great blouse. It has so many colors, I think there are just a ton of options for styling it.

Marcy, a smaller size will probably just blousson more because it's tighter on the hip. I vote try a size down.
