I had thought these would be a sure thing.

The oxfords I bought from the same brand last year are one of my favorite pairs of shoes and were workhorses for me. I love the Doc-esque soles and the traditional penny-loafer top. AND they came in a rich navy suede.

Seriously, I was certain these were going to be mine.

BUT, my medium volume feet don't fit them. You need low volume feet. The part where the "tongue" of the loafer is pulls too tightly across my foot and is uncomfortable. I don't think this will break in, nor am I especially interested in "breaking in" a pair of shoes.
