I'm curious about that fair isle sweater.

Already bought a couple of things this morning. I had a spare hour and popped in to see if I could find any of the items I liked in the catalog.

The Mackage leather sleeved coat is so cool. It's probably a good thing it was not there in my size. Wonder if J would like to make that my birthday present...

I saw that coming because this jumped at Inge and me too - how many dresses WITH sleeves. Alas - most of them were too short for both of us
I saw that olive jumpsuit WITH SLEEVES and thought about you. I know you were looking for one but I thought "too bad it is not Angie's color..."

Sveta, the Classiques midi dress is great for you. I'm thinking about getting it too.

I'm coming home with the navy DVF jumpsuit. Waited 3 years to find the perfect one and here it is. I feel very Studio 54 in it. Wooohooooo! It needs alterations though.

Also getting three jumpers by Theory, Vince and Autumn Cashmere. Silver grey, the cream fair isle, and the ink side zipper. Two cropped and one long.

Am thinking about the gorgeous cream and black A.C.L blouse too. It fits sooo perfectly. And might look good with my black flirty Valentino skirt.

And last, got the cropped Current Elliott jeans with the wider frayed edge. I believe they are almost sold out already. They run big so size down one or two sizes.

Off to shoes and bags.

Just looked at shoes. Non-Salon shoes looks great. Nice DIFFERENT casual bootie styles from Sperry, Korkease, Converse, Toms and Timberland. Very comfy too.

I am thrilled that the DVF jumpsuit is coming home with you. It's absolutely stunning, and I want it too, but really don't have enough opportunities to justify buying it, so I'll enjoy it vicariously on you.

I also immediately thought that black & white ALC blouse had your name written all over it. Holding thumbs it finds its way into your closet;-)

Not surprised to see the Ted Baker floral print pencil skirt in the photos too. And aren't that striped coat and the Helene Berman kimono coat fun.

Curious to hear if you find something fab in the shoes and bags department.

If there's a great teal dress, let me know!! I'm matron of honor dress hunting. First try was this skirt, I've put it in Finds. A dress came instead! Not sure whether to reorder the skirt, since I haven't found a top to go with it yet, or keep looking for a dark teal dress in the sale.

Sounds like you had a blast! I walked through everything this morning and nothing really tickled my fancy or filled a need. Salon shoes was pretty pitiful. I agree there are lots of good bootie choices for those in that market. Some lovely cashmere in Accessories too. Sad for me but perhaps not my wallet Will watch others and live vicariously.

My only "need" is a dress for a Fall wedding and several lighter weight sweaters since I've over-stocked on cashmere for my climate. Weirdly, I'm in the mood for a splurge...something wonderful and special. It's really hard to imagine what that might be for me though. I don't get into bags, don't get to wear fun shoes, and have all the coats and jewelry I need.

What do you splurge on when the usual splurge items don't do it? I bet this is entirely silly, to want to spend money and not know what to spend it on. Backwards, right?

Oooh, now that I've taken a close look at all the finds, my splurge might be that Helmut Lang Villious Hooded Cardigan. Depends on weight. If it could replace a mid-weight polar fleece type jacket that might be a more polished and cool looking "winterish" coat for me! I remember Alaskagirl getting this last year.
