First Headshots - Help Please

Hello everyone, I recently got my first set of acting/modeling headshots
done, we tried a couple of different things and I've no idea which shots are good, if any. So I'm wondering if it's okay that I share some of the shots and
then you tell me which one I should go with as the primary? Part of me thinks that they’re all terrible but I guess there's only one way to find out.

These are my first shots and I have no idea which one is the best, which
one to use as primary, which one is the worst, I’m pretty much clueless as to
how these pics stack up against each other and so any and all feedback is
most gratefully appreciated.

I think it probably depends what kind of a role you're going to be apply for in terms of how you stack them.

If it is a generic portfolio, I'd leave the ones with the glasses for later; typically they're not looking for someone in glasses for things ... unless you're specifically modelling for a company that uses a lot of models with glasses!

Lyn has good points. What kind of roles are you seeking?

Out of these, though, I like #2 because you've got a bit of a smile. On the other hand, if you're looking to play a mean thug... maybe that's not the thing, a smile (!)

I like the one with out the glasses because you have very nice eyes. I also like the overall vibe of the one with the black shirt and sunglasses. I'd most likely lead with one of those.

If you wanna play Horatio in a CSI: Miami franchise, I'd go with the sunglasses one! That's who I thought of instantly! :p

Thanks for the advice, it is a generic portfolio so I'll go w/o glasses unless of course it's sunglasses and CSI Miami needs a fill-in

I'm not exactly sure what kind of roles, new at this. I know I won't be getting offered banker, accountant or cop (except maybe undercover), so I guess I'm going for creative types, musicians, artists and so forth. Or vampires. The sunglasses one is the 'aloof' shot to play a rock star or someone else who keeps their distance. Thanks for the recommendation on #2!

the recommendations, and when you say the one with out the glasses do you mean the full-length shot (#4) or the close-up shot (#5)?
