Amazingly enough I think my first box is a win (except that I accidentally ordered two of the VC tops in the same size, how did that happen?).
1) First the KUT ponte pants are AMAZING. I love the weight of the fabric. My much loved NYDJ ponte pants from a few years ago are probably only going to make it through another winter so these were needed. I just ordered them in gray also. A 10 for sure. I'm wearing them with the VC striped top which I'm going to give a 9 . It is super comfortable and I think I'll get a lot of wear out of it. The only thing that's a little off is it's a little clingy around the midsection. You can't really see it in this picture but the snaps etc of the pants show through as well as extra bits on the waist. I tried it on with my NYDJ that have a higher rise and the problem went away. Just a warning to some of you thinking about ordering it.
2/3) The Halogen floral sweater in cream. I tried this on in the store in black and DH liked the cream on me better. Was he right?

I do like the black for dramatic effect, but I also agree the cream is nicer with your hair and coloring. You look great in all of it.

I found the VC top too clingy and bust-enhancing for me. It looks better on you! Love the floral top although I prefer the black for the drama of it, and the Kuts are always a good choice.

See I think I'm with you on the black. That's the one I would have chosen. But my DH rarely states an opinion so I went with him. Also, I can use all the bust enhancing I can get!!

p.s. The cream is really pretty, but the dark is also stunning in a punkier way... I think you need that one as well, hehe.

I'm thinking that the top, with it's combination of stripes going in different directions, is probably good tummy camoflage. I think it looks just fine.

I prefer the black background on the floral sweater. It just seems a bit more unusual, maybe.

That striped top looks great on you, I think it is very flattering.

I like both colors on you...I am actually keeping both. I plan to use the cream for warmer weather and the black for fall/winter. It's a great weight, I love the pattern and since it's such a good price, I am fine with duplicating.

I'll have to consider duplicating. I like the idea of the cream top for spring when I'm tired of dark colors but still need to be warm.

I like both of the floral tops on you. I may have mentioned, but I have a navy version of this from last year. I like the way it looks but it was not warm enough to wear much last winter.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I prefer the dark background on the floral just a tad more. But do love the white on you too. Might need to throw hubs a bone.

I have to admit that the picture with the black sweater and the denim was the only one that made me say, "Wow." The cream background sweater is nice, and coordinates well with the pants, but the darker sweater and jeans are definitely more dramatic. And I very much like the striped top. It was far too clingy on me, but it looks fab on you. You definitely don't look like you have any "extra bits" around the waist!

Wow I love all your picks but the black background sweater looks amazing. I got the Kut ponte pants and really like them wish they had the grey in petites. I can't see and bulge in the mix stripe top but I have one from several years back and I feel the same way. Great picks.

All three look like keepers to me. I think DH has a good eye, I much prefer the cream floral sweater to the black one. It's an 11 on you.
