Ya. Fire season is here. I too hope everyone is doing ok. We’re on shutdown alert again, police patrol, and have the face masks out ‘cuz the air is bad. Two fires in my town yesterday, close by, but we’re ok.

Thanks! We're in alert as well. DD is coming home from Sonoma State again. Not that I'm complaining but it's kind of crazy. I really do need to buy that generator. I saw a post on it--"California--powered by Honda."

I just got home from visiting my 95 YO mother in the Bay Area. The first thing that struck me was how warm it was there. Here, east of the Sierra, we’ve been having highs in the 60s, and SF was nearly 90! Her retirement home has a plan for the power outage with regard to the elevators and meals, and for those with special medical needs.

Hope everyone is safe. We are fine, although last night’s fire is the closest yet. I’m feeling vindicated in my decision not to househunt in the hills or canyons.
