Finds not working

Finds are not working for several websites they normally work for, such as J Crew and Nordstrom Rack. The browser is Google Chrome.

Thanks for letting us know, Tanya. They have probably changed some of their code. I will let Greg know, and we'll see what we can do:-)

No problem Inge.

I know that Rack revamped their site recently. Whenever I try to collect something, it says: "

This doesn't seem to be the page for an individual product".

The issue with J Crew is different, it cannot gran the photo (broken photo icon) and nothing gets collected.

Finds also not working for me.

Firefox AND chrome browser. When I am on Nordstrom, I click my find collector and I get a window saying

Please log in to YLF before using the bookmarklet. You can log in to YLF
in a separate window and then come back to this page and try the
bookmarklet again.

I log in, have tried clearing all my cache, logging back in.... tried in private and non-private browsing session - no luck.

It's as though it doesn't recognize me. *shrug*

Hi Inge,

So the update is the following:
Nordstrom Rack finds are finally working now (yay!).

When it comes to J Crew, the situation appears to be fixed, but it isn't. There are no more issues actually collecting the Find form their site, but it never appears on YLF. This is true with multiple browsers, and it's real - I did the basic troubleshooting - I am logged in, the Find does not already exists, etc.

And yes! I'm experiencing the same thing with the J.Crew site and have reported it to Greg. Hopefully we can get that sorted soon.

Greg spent hours trying to fix the J.Crew website over the weekend, and cannot get it to work. The software is incompatible unfortunately.

Any update on nemosmom's and Ana's issue, with Finds not recognizing a log in?

Please log in to YLF before using the bookmarklet. You can log in to YLF in a separate window and then come back to this page and try the bookmarklet again.

I have been getting this error for months on my computer. Both Chrome and Edge browsers, and on every site I've tried: Nordstrom, Macy's, Kohl's, Amazon, etc. I am definitely logged in.

Hi Ginger,

If anyone's having this problem, please either post here (or PM me) your privacy / cookie settings in the browser you are using.

Some background: The finds feature relies on a cookie to know that you are logged into YLF. Increasingly people are blocking cookies for privacy reasons. This is reasonable, but unfortunately it breaks the collector.

That makes perfect sense. I tried allowing third party cookies and it worked! Thank you! Are there specific domains I can add to the exception list, so I don't have to enable all third party cookies? I tried adding "youlookfab.com" but that did not enable Finds.

On another note, Finds don't work for Kohls.com; It doesn't recognize the individual product page. (They seem to change their site regularly since this is often the case for Kohl's, no fault to you!)

Ginger, some browsers used to allow one to add specific domains to a cookie exception list, but I haven't seen that recently. Let me know which browser you are using and I'll take a look.

Greg, I mostly use Chrome, so that would be the most useful. It does offer an exception list. Thanks!
