I have started unpacking some sweaters and seeing which fit at the moment and which might get eb through this winter, especially when I go back to work.
It is funny. Some pieces I am super excited to see again. I know they are comfortable, easy to care for, and generally flattering. Then there are others . . . And I am feeling more at peace letting them go. Even if only wore them for a season. (Looking at you polka dot NAS sweater that needs to be de-pilled after each wear).
For me, I am finding myself slipping back into my pre-YLF days a bit. My loves are:
1. Dark trousers. I am thinking of keeping my post maternity capsule with black and grey. Heck, all I had was black for my maternity capsule.
2. Soft, comfortable sweaters.
3. Nothing fussy.
4. Easy to launder.
I still do like the look of turtlenecks and cowl necks but have been reaching for them a lot less. This is because I feel like they are "in the way" when I am cuddling DD2. But that will change.
Over to you. What characteristics do your "old friends" have? Anything consistent in the pieces you are considering parting with?
