Thanks for sharing, Cindy! You all look amazing and I'm so glad for you and your family. I know this wasn't easy, but you all look like a radient, beautiful family. When is the next lace/pants event for you?

Jenni, I didn't get a pic of the shoes. I completely forgot to get any pics of myself except for a couple of selfies.

Harmonica, I doubt I'll actually have another dressy event any time soon, so I'll probably have to style it casual and wear it grocery shopping. I seriously live a very, very casual lifestyle with almost zero need for dressy clothes.

Runcarla, yeah, lately the lace DOES feel like me. I haven't given up on the ladder ed sweaters, but I definitely feel like doing softer things sometimes too. The color of this lace keeps it from feeling too "precious", if that makes sense?

Again, thank you to everybody for walking through the "I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR!!!" freak out with me. I don't know that I could have survived it (emotionally) if I hadn't had you guys as my woobie (security blanket)!

What beautiful & well dressed:-) family you have! Congrats to all of you! The newly weds are smashing of course and loved to read the stories behind the scenes...thanx for sharing! Aw, and those shoes(the bride's and DFather's, too!). Your outfit was perfect for the event done your very own (little edgy, little different-but very stylish!) way- and DMother looked soooo elegant in her long gown!

Thank you so much for sharing these pics. You look wonderful and it looks like it was a perfect day. I love all the meaningful touches. I know that those little things really mean a lot.

Love the back story on everything, Cindy- thanks for sharing those precious details. You really looked stunning, appropriate for that venue, so proud of your sister, and happy.

What a wonderful, loving family wedding! I haven't even looked at the pictures yet, but am already happy for you.

OK, now I looked. They went by fast!

Your sister is beautiful, and a lovely bride. I love the pic of her and your mom mid-conversation. You look perfect--great wedding outfit that reflects who you are and the joy of the day.

Thanks for sharing.

Oh, just wanted to ask were those pennies the "old something" in the bride's outfit? And how could your Sis walk on top of them??? What an amazing family tradition!:-)

Lyn, the pennies wound up being the something old, and mom's garter was the something blue and borrowed, there was another something borrowed I think

What great photos! Sounds like an amazing day for your entire family. You look beautiful!

The all of you look beautiful and happy, and you are particularly fab! Beautiful hair and beautiful outfit. Glad to know that all went well.

WOW, you whacked it out of the ballpark, Cindy. KILLER.

Fun family wedding.Thanks for sharing.

Oh, happy day! Wedding pictures always get me a little verklempt, but THESE, especially with your sharing of family backstory and seeing everyone's obvious happiness are mind-blowing.
You were lovely in your carefully chosen outfit, Cindy. As were your mom and your beautiful radiant sister!
I'm dying to know, how long did she last in those shoes?

Amazing outfit, Cindy! Everyone looks great. Thanks for sharing.

Race, she lasted all night in those shoes! She's a whole 5' tall, so she wears heels all the time (except at the gym). As someone who used to wear heels all the time myself, I can understand how she did it. You get so used to being in heels that you don't feel the discomfort (unless it's something blatant like a blister). Heck, for years and years, I was actually kind of clutzy in flats, I guess because my center of gravity wasn't in the usual spot? I do know that she kept them off while we were hanging out in the bridal suite beforehand, trying to make sure her feet & legs didn't get tired of the shoes once the event actually started LOL

FANTASTIC FINAL LOOK!!!

I've been waiting for this post, and am so glad you shared it with us. Thank you!

What a joyous wedding group! You all look wonderful. Love the pic of the family when you guys were little. Thank you for sharing.

Your sister looks so lovely & so do you!
