I am so happy to report it’s sunny and 50 degrees F, after never ending snow, clouds and cold! Seriously! It was still snowing here on Friday. The birds are finally out building their nests. No crocus seen at all. Not yet..No hint of Daffodils. My windows are open, the air smells fresh and clean. I’m happy How is it looking where you live?

It is a gorgeous day here. Finally. We went for a walk this morning without our winter coats. The first time we could wear something light and not worry about freezing.

Here it feels like summer already. It was 28C during the day and now at 10PM it is 22C. Shorts and sandals everywhere.

Woohoo! Lovely day today. Put on sunscreen and went for the first bike ride of the season. Came home and washed up. Went for a walk with DH. Forgot sunscreen. Duh!

Nice here too! It's been about 12-15C for a few days now, and the snow is GONE. Windows open (although so dirty) while I did a major house cleaning today. Felt great.

Woohoo! It was lovely here too. Our rock garden has loads of daffodils and my hyacinth are up.
Went out today in a wool blazer only.
Let’s hope we have all turned the corner on winter.

Another sunny spot here. Hit 60 for a while today woo hoo! I Did a little garden clean up despite having to wear a couple of fleece layers and a hat because of the cool breeze. Daffodils and hyacinth are blooming and forsythia has lots of buds!

The weather is still a bit weird here in north central Texas. The wind has been blowing for over a month, and I'm talking the kind of wind of that blows half of DH's dump truck sized pile of sand away at work (he's a mason, sand is needed in mass quantities). It's also starting to act like storm season, with much humidity/clouds/rain. I'm almost ready for summer, which is something I'm never ready for LOL

It was beautiful here yesterday and today is supposed to be another nice day. Yesterday I spent several hours working on my backyard and patio trying to get it ready for summer.

It feels like summer here as well. It will be in the mid 70s (23-24 C) all week. No sandals or shorts yet however. We have a long and hot summer ahead of us. If we started wearing shorts now, we'd have to go to work in our bathing suits in July ! I am wearing ankle length pants, sleeveless blouse and a blazer - My favorite formula for this weather.

We are invited to go swimming in the Donau on Sunday. I don’t feel ready for the swimsuit season yet.

Isn’t it fabulous?! We, too, finally warmed up to 70 degrees F on Monday (in contrast to the ice storm 8 days prior.). Suddenly shrubs are starting to leaf out,and everyone seems to be breathing a big sigh of relief that spring has FINALLY arrived.
