Oh Happy Day! Inches of dead, pool and box-dye damaged hair are gone. I finally made it to the stylist today! Same salon but a new stylist as my old one and my old back-up one are both on mat leave. She did a great job imo. We tweaked the colour a bit - I normal do a level 7 with ash tones but we left it neutral this time and I like the result for where I am right now - much less harsh against my skin. And a slightly angled, blunt bob which we added a few messy curls to.
I've pre-booked my next one and am crossing my fingers that no shut-downs occur again as it feels SO much better to have healthy hair
