Hello Fabbers,

I have said many times on this forum that I am more comfortable as a fashion follower. Wellll....I guess no more.

I am taking a break from shopping to fund other priorities, and I now find that thanks to Angie`s posts and all of your generosity in sharing your style, I have made choices to keep me looking current. I have in my closet fluid skirts, waist-defining dresses, high-waist trousers and jeans, cropped and sharp shoulder sweaters, tall boots, full-length trousers, comfort shoes (that look great with everything), and mustard and burgundy items. The only thing I`ll miss stocking up on this fall is the browns that have been so missing from retail for a while. But maybe come sale season this winter...

Anyway, some of the above I acquired based on Angie`s projections (I kept my cropped pant capsule to two because they are hard for me to style and Angie said full length trousers were a-comin`), some because I have figured out what fits and flatters, trends be darned. But for once, I am on the front of the wave, which is odd for me. And because this is “my style,” I don`t feel conspicuous wearing it. Thanks for helping me get to a good place; I`ll keep watching and learning in the meantime!
