I think I will call it a learning experience. I thought I had finally (two years of searching, but admittedly off and on) found "the one". Well, no. I did learn more of what doesn't work so well for me.
I really like the look of this Radley London bag. I bought it in light blue, not this bright blue color. It has the key features I needed...inside pockets for phone and keys and a zip pocket for papers. It is for sure better looking than my ancient and falling apart Coach.
But, the 3 separate compartments are not working as well as I hoped. Things have to be placed just so, it's a tight fit, and it's fussy to get things in and out. I have also learned I don't like the thicker-stiffer leather but prefer something lighter and softer. Finally, while I love the light blue color it makes me feel worried about stains and wear for daily use and I'm not someone who has multiple bags for different uses.
I've used it too much now to return it I think...it already shows some wear. I'll keep it because it looks good for sure, but the search for "the one" has not been called off.
