PHOTOS ADDED. Finally, a pair of jeans that FIT!

I tried the Rivet & Blues brand from Nordie's, which I've never heard of and can't find anywhere else, because they come in petite. Well, they are perfect. I even went ahead and threw them in the wash. So you'll see them tomorrow. Jumping the gun on YLF opinion - I'm a little nervous but think they'll be approved.

They are comfy, flattering, have a good rise for me, and are the right length, with a slighter bootcut than regular pants. The wash is a little casual (why the whiskering?) but they were so cheap I can forgive it, and there are other washes at regular price.

And they are at least half the price of the "real" premium denim brands. Petite gals who don't want a low rise, I encourage you to check them out. And kick me for being so bad at SYC.

yay for jeans that fit! I have the other problem - many fit me and so I'm too easily tempted. Now I know I'm lucky to have such a 'problem' through seeing your (and Sarah's) jean hunt frustrations.

Oh my goodness - you can't let SYC prevent you from finding jeans THAT FIT!

If you need any rationalization, consider using these to replace 2-3 pair of poorly fitting pants. . . feel any better?

On a different note, I wonder why I have never seen these at NRack? They're priced like Jag and Kut jeans, and lots of us are pleased with those brands. The full priced one is available in some sizes at my Mall of America store. I may have to check these out. I'm not really petite, but flats always means hemming off a couple inches. . .

Added photos - please be honest. These were under $40 so if they are not perfect, I can live - but this is as good as I've found. If these work then I'm getting the darker wash as well. Thanks! (And that rear view will NOT be staying up long!)

SYC is "shop your closet" - meaning no buying new stuff. Some of us had pledged to do it till April (me!) - but there have many bumps along the way!

I think they look great! From all angles! I think the length is PPL with those shoes

Yay Una! I know the excitement of finding jeans that fit and are gently priced, I had an experience like that with the GAP long and leans (I bought a few different washes using the 40% off Wednesday coupons). Its a double score when they don't need to be altered in the length!

They look great to me! I'm curious though, did you try the L&L's or Perfect Bootcuts? I must have missed that post if you did.

The length is perfect. Are they too baggy though in the thighs? I can't tell from the pictures...how do they feel?

Length is perfect, fit is great, I have jeans with funky whiskering too and yours aren't as bad. Sometimes it's crazy like these Lucky Brand jeans!

I kind of like the whiskering! It seems to even out the bottom half of the IT figure to me. And I haven't seen whiskering in so long that it almost seems edgy again... like tie dye. Anyway, sorry to ramble - congrats again.

They look great. Go get a pair of the dark wash. Better yet, get 2. If I find something that's perfect, and a basic, I like to buy multiples.

Thanks everyone! I feel odd posting my booty (or lack of) online - so that photo is going away for now.

Reporting back, after a day there is a bit of stretching - not really "bagginess" but feeling about half a size bigger. I think I will go down a size for the next pair and road test them before washing. That would mean these jeans run two sizes BIG for me. Talk about vanity sizing!

Still going to try the COH Elsons also, as Nordie's is having triple reward points right now.
