Yesterday I got a batch of pieces, enough to really narrow down the decisions. I received the Caslon Hoodie Tunic (the real one this time!), the Bobeau Blouson sleeve in burgundy, and a size up in the Halogen Knit Tee in red.

(1) Pictures 1-2, real tunic; Pictures 3-4, mystery tunic.

Surprise surprise, the tunic is not a winner! The color is a very greyish pink, not a favorite. It's also a rather loose, open weave, so it's semi-sheer, and totally straight but large-fitting. Compared to the Mystery Tunic that I received for my first attempt at ordering this, there's really no question which one I'm going to keep.

The Bobeau top must have been wildly popular, because I've been stalking and chasing sizes and colors for the whole sale. I've ordered it a total of 6 times in different sizes and colors; 2 orders were cancelled, and this is still only the 2nd one to arrive. The first was a petite in my usual size, and it was ridiculously small. This was my regular size and I really like it!

This is a fine-gauge sweater, not a tee. It's very soft and comfortable, but stays structured in fit. My only hesitation was the color, since my winter closet is burgundy-heavy and I don't like pairing darks with darks. But I grabbed a couple skirts and I LOVE it with the corduroy floral. It picks up the purplish brown of the foliage really well. And now I finally have a need for some burgundy boots. Oh dear.

The "Red Chinoise" Halogen tee in a size up. Sizing up was good; it's not visually that different, but it doesn't feel tight any more. But I've been waffling about keeping it for a while, particularly since I have two red tops now, the new Vince Camuto balloon sleeve, and an old, much-adored dark red tee. I think I've decided to return it, but it's not an easy decision.

Pictures 12-13, dark red tee

Pros:
- The Vince is a lot of drama for casual errands in jeans, and the dark red tee is so beloved I'm afraid of wearing it out. Another red tee, in a slightly different color and detailing, may fill this small wardrobe hole.
- The Halogen is a different color red than I have in anything else.
- The seaming details and ribbing are good.

Cons:
- I'm really not sure of the color; it's a brighter, more orange red than my others. I took some selfies in all three tops. Lipstick is whatever's left from my pink earlier in the day - I didn't want to skew this comparison. Thoughts?

Pictures: 14, dark red; 15, Vince Camuto red; 16, Halogen red.

- I still prefer the fit of the old red tee. It's not as long so I don't have to fuss with artistic wrinkle placement, the sleeves fit well without being loose, and it doesn't pull at the armpit/bust at all.
- Is that wardrobe hole really a hole? I'm just not sure that I will reach for this instead of the old red tee. What I really need is a duplicate of the old red tee. #offtosearchebay #strangerthingshavehappened
- My poor budget! This is the first time I've really shopped NAS and I'm both exhilarated and slightly scared by how much I'm spending. But so far, everything on the Keep list I'm thrilled by. This top doesn't thrill me.

So I've decided to return it. But I still am curious for Fabbers' opinions of the reds!

Still waiting on: Bobeau top in green, different size in the Gibson pink fleece top and Free People green tee, and one last bra style/size.
