Final K/R for today: JCrew denim skirt ("Karen's skirt")

I have been looking for a longer length denim skirt for a while now and was delighted to see one in Angie's blog post on Karen's summer style. I got the skirt http://www.jcrew.com/womens_ca...../65324.jsp for $45 on sale and I really like it for work. What do you think? Please ignore the horizontal crease from shipping.

Can I tuck into this skirt? I am short-waisted and the skirt has a high waist so I am unsure.

ETA - just in case if anyone is interested in sizing on this skirt, I first got my normal denim size (29) and it fit but was hugging the tummy bulge too much to the point where I thought this skirt was a complete failure for me. I called jcrew to see if I can size up and they sent me the next size up with free shipping and honoring the sale price. The larger size (shown in these photos) still fits well in the waist. So it may be good, at least for the apples among us, to size up from your normal premium denim size.

this is a lovely, lovely skirt! definately keep! I've been looking for a similar skirt with no success yet, so very happy that you found this. You look fab with the blouse tucked and, wow--- what looong legs! The colours of the blouse is really great and ties the blazer and skirt really well together. Big YAY from me. Let's see what others have to say

This looks to fit perfectly. The waist fits well and I like it tucked. I imagine you could wear tops tucked or untucked. Length is good as is the wash. I say it's a keeper.

I really like that skirt. I tried it on myself and would have bought it, were it not for the high waist, which I found physically uncomfortable (although not unflattering). It works on you though, and I think even tucked in it looks good. I really like the length and shape of it on you.

I say keep, if you find it comfy.

Thanks, everyone! Elisabeth, I did not find the high waist uncomfortable but I am glad youmentioned that - I will wear the skirt around the house before removing the tags to make sure it feels OK.

Oh lovely! It looks good as you are wearing it, but I bet it will look fantastic untucked too, depending on the top.
