Final Hair Post...I promise! Edit: back and sides

I really do promise. Clearly I am hair obsessed!! I have tried to hide it...but now you know lol.

Went back and had 12 foils in No 7 colour (very close to my natural colour). Stylist also toned the hair again to combat the yellow.

Couldn't be happier!

I like the dimension. I think it also cools down the pink in my skin tone and my brows don't contrast quite so dramatically.

My new stylist is a darling and seems to really "get" me. And she barely charged me so DH will be happy lol.

So is it just me or do you think this is more flattering. You don't have to agree with me;)

EDIT for Elizabeth:). Worn neat at the back, worn messy showing of the razor cut and the side. The top length actually needs about an inch off it. Really didn't notice until I took the pics. And yes, I have a scar on the back of my head ...funny story... Must share one day;)

Great decision, I think it adds a lot of depth and movement.

This looks fabulous! Still dramatic, but with more depth and dimension, and toning down the yellow worked well.
I can see why you're happy with it now- you look stunning!

I think this is great *fix* I do think your eyebrows contrast lesser now (I observed that with the first, but didn't bother me too much really). Definitely more flattering.

Caro, good hairdressers are hard to find, I still miss my stylist from when I lived in Albury and that is about 15 years ago!!

My Melbourne one retired otherwise it would be worth the trip back every 6 weeks

Oh, yess! The lowlights give some dept to it, and even if color nr7(is that a true, dark blond?) it really looks more silvery to me, so actually a trendier platinum:-) happy for you Deb, you always have the best hair! Thanx for the back and sides picties, too. Very usuful for an upcomming inspiration:-)

YES!! This is it. Although it looked fine before, I wouldn't have raved about it, but THIS is fantastic. I didn't realise you had lived in Albury, how long for and when? I've spent a bit of time there as both my brothers have lived there.

I like this even better Deborah. It's like the dark foils repeat your eyebrow color through the front of your hair, which is very pleasing to my eye. I also like the cooler tone against your complexion. You look fantastic as a platinum blonde, dahling!

Oh wow - what a nice change! I wouldn't have known there would be a difference but I like the depth that the lowlights add. You look great. You have such perfectly arched eyebrows. I really like the "messy" back look to your hair. Nice to be able to wear it a few ways

I agree with Marcey - mess that stuff up! Given my small amount of natural wave, I wonder if I can sport the messy look with minimal effort. Hmm..

Thank you so much and I am thrilled that it seems I made the right choice.

Carolbee, DH and I lived in Albury from late 1997 to mid 1999. We felt like we needed a change and he was offered a job with his company at the time to manage one of their music stores in Albury. It was a wonderful time, I also made a career change and moved into employment consulting with Drake and we have fond memories of our time there. We passed through Albury about 2 years ago and we could not believe how much it has changed. A lot more convcrete and it seems to have lost the 'small town charm' we liked so much.
