To celebrate the end of SYC, I wanted to treat myself to a pair of Fidjis that I have had my eye on for at least the last 6 months. It was kind of a love at first sight, and as the model is going out of stock quickly, I am trying to jump on them before I miss my chance. Fortunately, I made this decision just at the time that they went on sale on Zappos and 6PM. But they are still *very* expensive shoes, so I want to make sure they are really killer shoes before I commit to them. I'd appreciate your feedback.
I'm already sold on the comfort factor, even more so than with the yellow slingback/lace-up style of Fidjis that I already own. Funny enough, the sizing of this shoe is *very* different than my previous pair of Fidjis - due to my square toes, I actually had to size *down* in these to get a good fit, whereas I had to size way up in my other pair. They also fill a style niche in my wardrobe - I only have one other pair of black shoes, which are patent peep-toe pumps that aren't half as comfortable as these, and the peep-toe style is kind of limiting.
(Off topic: these photos, taken at the end of the day, make it clear how badly I need a haircut. Yikes!)
