So I did finally get my velvet on. I like these pants, because the waist has a nice yoke, so I don't look shapeless even with the gently flowing velvet.
And I finally decorated for Christmas, just in time for DS to open his little fondue set and us to have some chocolate fondue. The blankets, pillow covers and most things on the table are ours, as are the gold candle holders, string of paper hearts, and Santa on the shelf. The glass bowls, serving platter, little rocking horse and other decorations on the bookshelf are not. I'm looking forward to being in our own place long before next Christmas, with our own furniture and the stuff that's still in the Florida storage locker. I do have a couple nice table runners, but generally think these things will blend in well with the rest without repeating.
