Since many of us are working around shopping within budgets I thought I'd share. Seems once I set myself free of strict SYC, I start to creep ahead with my budget. It happened last year and it's happening again. But I do manage to reign things in within the month that I'm over, until the next month begins. I suppose it works in the end!
On to my May purchases in April: blue ankle boots I had to have the minute I spied them (happy birthday to me), then the interview capsule I just needed to round out, not planned for but good to have done, and the casual black dress since I realized my dresses are too foofy for play. I also have a dressier LBD coming in the mail courtesy of Lyn's generosity!
The interview capsule wasn't on my spring list, so I still have a pair of shorts and a red top I'd like to get in June. Then my spring/summer budget will be done and all my holes should be filled. I have $50 left in the budget for those 2 items. I do suspect I may get some birthday $$$ that would cover the blue boots and bring my budget back up to $100 for the remainder of the season. If that's the case, I might be able to grab the mixed media black blouse, too!
EDIT: wow, after looking at the pics I appear to be black rutting! But I swear, I don't wear much black at all. Too funny.
