I should have bronzed my old Ferragamo's!

Because I see the little classic Ferragamo bow-shoes are now over $400!

I also see that you can build your own... like red heel, blue shoe. Which is almost tempting, but I have bad ballet feet and can't wear Ferragamo's anymore.

Yes...the 80s are back. I love ferragamos. Sadly my feet are way way too wide to fit. I used to covet those bows.

Funny. I'm still holding on to a pair of yellow suede Ferragamo loafers that are a bit roughed up and worn, but still fairly comfortable. I think it's the color (mustard?!) that I like. Yep, I'm a mustard girl in condiments, too.

I have been told they come in widths. A friend has a bunion and slightly wide feet and she has a pair. She may have purchased in Italy mind you.

Gosh! You know someone who got a pair in a wider width? Huh. Makes me wonder if they'd have wider widths at the Ferragmo store. Atho, I never go because I avoid going into the city. Also, they may have found my price limit. That's like a 300% rise in price or something. It shocks me, hehe.

I love ferragamos but they have gotten very price-y. If you take care of them and use shoe trees, they can last a long time. They carry a good selection at Arthur beren shoes...in San Francisco and on the Internet. But I do think they are best for a narrow foot.

Wait, isn't Arthur Beren practically next door to the Ferragamo shop? I've never understood that - selling the same product in shops so close together. But what do I know? I do appreciate the Starbucks on every corner when I'm shopping. Haha!

I'm trying to understand the jump in price. It's huge. My old stylist and I used to talk about Ferragamos and the old days, but now I realise my old days were the freeking dark ages.
