Anna I don't know you, but I do know that you are Beautiful. I too send hugs. Hoping there is a scenic area nearby where you can go walk and/or sit and simply breathe. Sending another hug.
PS: a new lip gloss tends to bring out the smile in us ladies too.

Stop wearing leggings and sweatshirts and get yourself some real clothes. You can't feel fierce dressed in alternative jammies.

First, I'm sorry that you are feeling down. It stinks when styles and/or the body changes and you have to adjust whether you want to or not. I understand this all too well. The size jeans that I used to wear don't fit anymore and stores and styles that I used to wear also don't fit anymore. Why? Lots of reasons, I've gotten older, designers have changed cuts and fits, and I've put on weight (and muscle). The hardest parts to this, was 1) finding new stores and styles that fit and 2) accepting that what used to work, no longer will. Just know that you aren't alone in these struggles. And I think the new hair will be lovely on you.

Anna, I so get it, and was nodding along with all the suggestions above. I especially love what Ledonna and Debbie wrote: self-care and being kind to yourself + making that list (what an excellent idea!). I know your life is hectic and super stressful, and at times like these we often think there's no time for self-care and relaxation when that's when we need it the MOST.

I agree that the new hair colour would be amazing on you. That in combination with finding just a few looks (going the online ordering route) that make you feel like your fabulous self again might go a long way in getting that spring back into your step.

P.S. The trip sounds super exciting!

I think you got some amazingly good suggestions here. I am always so impressed at the Forum's response when asked to help out. I sincerely hope you will start to feel better in the very near future.
