I like the blues in your outfit with the contrasting orange clutch.

My previous employer went through a similar situation where they downsized from 25 employees to 17. In such a small company it was really hard to see so many people go. I left the company shortly after that for greener pastures. It was just too stressful wondering who was going to be let go of next.

Hi Kari!

I think that this time of year is very hard for a lot of people who battle "the blues" or depression. Having work issues on top of it (especially ongoing) is really hard. I'm not working at the moment (doing contract work but this time of year is dead, nothing permanent yet) and the SO is considering making a job change because of some minor issues at work, but the decision itself has been really stressful and a months long process (I don't even want to see it if he moves!).

Glad to see you back, and maybe YLF can help keep your mind off some things! You're looking beautiful as ever, and I love the orange bag/wallet/clutch.

As far as rats go, for me that would be a no, but it is because I draw the line at pets that poop in the house. I have experienced gerbils before, which were cool except I don't like being bit-- I can't imagine being bit by a rat. The SO wants cats or ferrets, and I am just not down for animals that live inside all the time. I guess I am more of a dog and livestock person.

so glad to see you back in action. cobalt is hot on you! and I say go for RATS!!!!!!!!!!

Rats! They sound fun. If you get a third you can name that one Templeton.

Sounds like you need to come for a visit to So Cal. We will base ourselves at Teavana, and run outside between teas to soak up some sun (they say there is more on the way, though today we are Seattle-esque). That oughta get your melatonin and Vitamin D revved back up!

Love your blue period.
