Favorite insoles?

I'm looking for insoles to add to shoes that are not sneakers.
(I already have my favorite insoles for sneakers.)

There is a wide range of insoles available, both at the drugstore and on Amazon. I'm looking for cushiony, arch support.

What is your favorite?

I love gel insoles (the ones I have are these: https://www.amazon.com/Dr-Scho....._title_hpc). They work for most of my shoes (except some with a tighter fit where I had to use a non-descript foam insole) and they are so, so, so comfortable. Don't make my feet sweat or overheat (even though sometimes I wear them with shoes without socks). They can be trimmed to size, and even when I trimmed them too much and they were a bit small they didn't move out of place. They also make slender versions for daintier shoes (can even be worn with sandals).

I haven't actually used them yet but I keep meaning to try Pedag leather insoles. They have good arch support. My feet get sweaty with the gel insoles. People on YLF have said good things about them.

If you're in SF, they have a wide selection of them in the little shoe repair shop in the basement of the Powell St mall.
