Quite love the joggers if you need them:-) but am neutral to the jacket.

I think the joggers are not worthy of a place in your wardrobe. The idea is great but I don’t think these are the ones. I’d wait because I don’t think it will be that hard to find a similar style in a better fit.

The jacket is interesting but it seems like a lot of work to make it work.

I don't care for the joggers, and I am always reluctant to weight in with non-positive observations... I didn't say anything about the hounds tooth vest, and when you showed the black trim, rather than the cream, boom, I was vindicated in not liking the first, haha. anyway, the joggers don't seem "you". And the jacket, as a fellow short waisted gal, I find this style hard to fit on me. I don't love that either.

The pants are giving off an '80s villain/henchperson vibe... You just need a MAC-10 SMG or a mini-Uzi

LOL Cee, that might not be a bad thing, like the recent thread about what to wear when you don’t want to be messed with.

AndiB, and everyone, I always appreciate honest opinions! I felt the same way you did about the cream vs black on the sweater vest. The pants, well, I think they look better in the mirror than they do in photos, but that poufiness in the front does bug me. I’m not an easy fit in pants of any kind, and even joggers are no exception. If they’re not too short, they’re often too tight or too puffy, LOL. Or they bag out in the seat and knees with wear, which is a bad look. I’d rather do without and see if I stumble on a better option. I’ve always kind of wanted leather or faux leather bottoms of some sort (but not skinnies) but it’s a tall order for someone built like me in an era when high rises dominate. I’ll pass for now!

If it makes you feel better I'm seeing articles about low rises coming back. Apparently the early 2000s are trending again...already :/

ST, I'd be happy if TPTB would just offer a variety of rises, instead of see-sawing back and forth between super low and super high rises! Sure, let's keep making those 12" front rises for people who like them, and 7" rises for teenyboppers. My kingdom for a nice 9-10" moderate rise, with a bit more coverage in the back!

Late here, but I really like the joggers and the jacket (unbelted) :). As I have mentioned on previous threads, I don't think looser, more voluminous items necessarily photograph or translate as well as more tailored ones, ditto shiny items like these joggers. My hunch is that the "crotch pooch" (for lack of a better term, LOL) is less noticeable in person.

But, if you are not feeling either of them, absolutely wait until a better version comes along!

I like them! But it's a LOOK and you'd have to be comfortable with that. I can see why you'd pass.

well Im not a big fan of the joggers, I feel they are a bit too puffy and plasticky appearing.......I would much prefer to see a sleek pair of boot cut leather jeans or trousers on your long legs!
In college, I had a roommate who was a dancer and they would periodically wear these black vinyl baggy jogger-style pants so they would "sweat" a ton and hopefully lose water weight before a performance! thats kind of what they remind me of....arghhh....

I like the cropped jacket without the belt. it is a little oversized which channels a cool 80s vibe a bit! interesting front closure details too!

Chiming in on the joggers: I'm with those who feel there is more looking to do.

Lob the joggers and how about with a cropped slightly oversized sweater? I am not crazy about the jacket. I feel like it’s not quite you? Is it comfortable?

A little update… I decided to return the jacket and the pants today. I like a lot of things about the jacket, but it is a little fussy. I do like the basic shape of it, and I think I would like the sleeves more if they had a traditional button cuff. I can’t figure out what to do with the tie belt, which isn’t really my thing. So back it went.

I perused the racks where i bought the joggers, and discovered that they are made in numbered sizes. For some reason I thought they were S-M-L, but they’re sized like jeans — 28-29-30, etc. I had actually tried on a 30, and there was a 29 in the store, so I tried it on. I do think the fit is better. What do you all think?

I loved the first ones, and I love these even more. These definitely reduce the poof in front. And I still like the fabric on these - not too shiny or plastic-y; more of a subtle leather look. I really, really like them.

Late to the thread but I really like the joggers in the smaller size! They almost look like a different style and are much sleeker.

I actually really liked the jacket too, but I think you were wise to return as it seems there were too many things to fuss with to make it work. But I definitely think you should keep an eye out for something with a similar vibe, if you think it might be useful to you.

Way better! I like this size!

Oh, these are winners! I hope you brought them home! The size down is much better!

The size down is so much better! Like Suz said, I hope you brought them home.

Yes! That is all.

MUCH better . Get these . And where are these from ? I could be talked into a pair …..

These do look a good fit. I will be a spanner and say I am just not sure - the shine is putting me off a bit. But you have a cooler and edgier style than me so feel free to ignore....

Great fit - keep it!

Oh yes, this size is the ticket(!)

So much better! Great outfit btw

Yay for smaller size! Sleek!

Bingo! I wouldn’t have thought they were the same joggers if you hadn’t said anything.

These look great!
