Glad you're finding some shoes that fit. I love 1-3. 4 isn't my favorite, I guess bc of the seams running across the top. Usually I like light footwear but the color on 5 seems off, but that could just be the photo - bc if they have sparkle then they're cool in my book Are you limiting yourself to x pairs or you might keep them all depending on the feedback?

Re laces for 1, what about some elastic? I have a couple pair of Camper sneakers that don't use laces, they came with elastic and this makes them easy to take off and on, and keeps them on my feet as well. Lazy persons shoes...

ABC, my Skechers have elastic laces, and I love them. Are elastic laces available as an after-market DIY product? If so, where? I'll go search Amazon now.

The leopard print Keds are great. I would just tie the laces in bows, so others will have to chime in for alternative lacing schemes.

#3 gray slipons are fab also, but the last two are kind of unexciting, serviceable if comfy - however some days call for exactly that type of shoe - they will get you there.

LOL on the eye roll. I love the pic 3 shoe. But I have to say I am not a leopard lover so it isn't really a fair compare. I really do like Keds though and think they would be a great addition to a casual footwear collection.

I just got skechers Gowalk and they are really, really comfortable. Wide in front.

Glory, no leopard for you?? I love it! I wore Keds (and Tretorns) as a child. Can't believe I'm about to wear them again.

Sadie, those look cute. Also in my order was a different pair of Skechers in a gray sweatshirt-like material. Really cute, but my left big toe was practically busting out. Maybe I'll try the GoWalks rather than a size up in the gray ones.

loving the leopard---i'd just do a "regular" tie, but maybe try a black lace to change things up. love the RL slip-ons. i'm not really loving the reef and the soda, they're ok, just not fab.

Kkards, they included black laces as well, so I'll give those try too. I wish those RL slip-ons came in many more colors! Although, it's probably a good thing they don't!

I understand how you feel about sparkle. That would give me pause too, but I rather like the overall shape. Love the grey leopard and believe in slip-ons.

As for the last, the Soda's... I keep hearing my neighbor's dad in my head when I see espadrilles... he calls them basket weaver's shoes and is appalled by them. They're up there for him with wearing fuzzy slippers to go places. I'm not sure if I can ever own another pair, lol.

Rachylou, that's so funny about the espadrilles! It kinda fits. These feel very much like just "foot coverings". Maybe better for a beach vacation than everyday life? When I was a teenager in the 70s in Atlanta, espadrilles were the Spring/Summer "dress up" shoe. Very preppy, worked great with Lilly or pink and green in general, and perhaps an add-a-bead necklace:-) Our Fall/Winter "dress up" shoe was the Wallobee...we won't revisit that one!

Omg, you said *Wallabee*! Oh no man. I now totally feel a new fashion fad / resurrection coming on. I am going to buy stock...

I'm also having fashion flackback to a high school espadrille fad. There was this whole moment when the thing was to wear madras boxer shorts, espadrilles, Ralph Lauren monogram sweaters, and the below plastic shoppers and barrettes.

OMG Rachy, you are too much. How do you come up with that stuff?

I love the leopard sneaks Carter, but am not crazy about the grey laces. How about good ole white? Or black? And I'd tie them... I don't think it looks weird to have sneakers that are meant to be tied... tied. I also really like #3. #4 look a bit too much like Toms to me, so trendy here they have turned me off. Cute on my 9 year old DD though... So-so on #5, but the sparkle does intrigue me.

Carter- I have a wide foot and lots of "foot issues" and the Gowalks have been fabulous- have worn them for several hours/miles right out of the box with no issues. Got them at Famous Footwear for only $50 as dog-walking shoes but liked them so much I upgraded to "real clothing" and may get another pair.

Sadie, that's awesome. I just put a pair of charcoal gray GoWalks in my cart. I'll definitely give them a try. I love my old Skechers, but I don't know if I'll ever be able to get my foot in them again.

I like 1 and 3 as well.
I have pair of gray Fred Perry's that look a lot like the RL's.....except mine lace up. I've found them to be very versatile colour and style wise.
