Hi all!

I'm making an appointment to get my hair cut and colored next week and am looking for inspiration for a new look. Can y'all recommend any websites that have good ideas for current hair trends?

I usually just google hairstyles for square face shapes ( i have a square face) and a whole lot come up. I also click on images and get ideas that way. sorry I dont know any specific website.

Thanks, Sally. I never thought of searching for styles via face shape, but mine is pretty much oval as far as I can tell. I'm in the market for something a bit unusual -- I'm in my 40s but Im definitely more rock'n'roll than soccer mom! My hair grows so fast too. I'll keep looking...

How long is your hair? Is you want to keep it shorter than shoulder length I would try short hair websites and magazines. They tend to have a lot of edgy, rock-n-roll styles. Of course, if your hair grows really quickly, anything edgy with a piece-y texture and layers might take a lot of maintenance trims.

Thanks, Elly. It's very layered, and grown out to where the longest just barely touches my shoulders. I wouldn't mind letting the length grow out a bit, but it needs a shapeup either way. I also have this craving to go red/auburn (my natural color is dark brown with an ever-increasing percentage of gray). I do trust my hairstylist -- I have been going to him for 7 years, and I usually just tell him, "do whatever you think looks good!" He hasn't failed me yet.
