So... I'd been thinking to get more sophisticated and adult, as befits my new Gotham-like environment, and get a black pencil skirt.

But this weekend I went back to the 'burbs, dog walking with my friend. Passed by one of my old favorite stores and have become fixated on the outfit they had in the window. I am still thinking about it two days later. I have to tell y'all it's the plainest, boring-est outfit of all time: navy A-line skirt, white button down, brown crewneck sweater (thrown over the shoulders).

How many ways is this outfit wrong: We're talking another A-line skirt (tho I don't have any navy ones). We're talking expensive (you don't make boring look so sharp on the cheap). We're talking so preppy, someone is gonna need a Heimlich due to gagging on the implied grosgrain headband (tho the pieces hardly need to be worn as shown).

Anyways, I don't need anything beyond my black A-line skirt, right? If anything, I should try to stick to the plan for a pencil skirt, right?
