Thank you Angie! I ended up working my way through several decades - it was a lot of fun. I'll start earliest and move forward in time.

First: channeling Louise Brooks (but minus the fringe/bangs), I was eager to bring this Johnathon Martin studio dress out of my lonely and rarely used formal capsule.

I didn't have t-strap pumps or a small beaded bag -- so I had to punt and go for shiny and silver instead.

Interesting tidbit I read about silk stockings during the era. With shorter skirts, light colors and even patterns became popular. The silk was often very shiny so women would powder over their stocking legs as well to make them more matte.

I could have kept layering on jewelry and head-pieces (I have a whole Ziegfeld Follies silver starburst headress I made for Halloween once) --- but wanted to keep it a little more minimal.

Last pic is trying the dress out with my funky ankle band shoes (for ya know, this century) -- does it work or should I stick with pumps?

All feedback welcome!
