I have a love-hate relationship with my teen fashion years. On the one hand, Madonna, Duran Duran, the Cure, and the Ramones. On the other hand, pastels, Valley Girls, big feathered hair, and high school. I was awake last night thinking of all the fantastic posts here and how little "era-related" stuff I actually own.
But here's my try! Madonna/British New Wave: Union Jack flag tee and bag, floofy lace miniskirt, fishnets, legwarmers (I own these, people!), and Shannon's Docs, sassy Valley Girl faces. I would have worn this then, and I may wear it to the appropriate party now.. Not wearing it out today as it's cold and rainy and I'm going climbing.
